  By far the worst experience I have had in a Halfords store. Attempting to collect a Sat Nav I had ordered I was directed to Parts and Spares at the end of the store. Let me assure you, this is a section of the store where no staff member has ever set foot. I waited, and waited. Nothing. I knocked on the door to a back room where I could hear voices. Nothing. Going back to the front of the store I found a staff member who told me to go back to the Spares counter and someone will come. Who will come? I enquired. Someone will come he repeated. Although this was appearing to be more an act of faith than actual information, I followed his guidance and went back into the wilderness and waited. No hint of anything resembling a religious experience . . . or customer service was forthcoming. I packed away my debit card and headed for the sunlight at the front of the store. The air was clean and fresh. Never be tempted to follow my route to Parts and Spares. I assure you no-one will come. DG, Bury St Edmunds
